Apprenticeship Program
Our Apprenticeship Program was created to foster community, provide growth opportunities, and cultivate a passion for teaching young students. By participating in the WHSOTA Apprenticeship Program, students have the chance to develop their skills, learn how to lead and assist in a creative classroom, and interact with and mentor younger students. Our teaching apprentice students are taught how to give positive reinforcement, provide corrections, and inspire a love for movement. They are expected to attend their assigned class each week throughout the season. These apprentices serve as role models both inside and outside the classroom, setting an example of excellence for their peers. They are dedicated to effectively assisting students in their dance practices. Over the past three years, this program has thrived, and we are thrilled for its continued growth in the upcoming season.
